Pecos National Historic Park

A cool little village in Pecos, New Mexico. We thought there was going to be a lot more structures standing, but I guess they are buried. The picture of the large structure is a church. There were those big black beetles everywhere! There were these things called kivas that were underground ceremonial rooms. There were two that the tops were reconstructed so that you could climb down into them. It was pretty creepy at first because it was pitch black down there.
